Error after registration on Joondle 1.1.4 - by: umbandaexplica

Hello people,

Informing and asking for help with an error after registering with moodle with joomdle 1.1.4 returns an error in the "notify" function of auth.php.

It returns me error at line 104: "$ PAGE-> set_url ('auth / joomdle / auth.php');"
I tried to make some corrections but nothing, the same did not happen in 1.1.3.

I also noticed that the SSO function and user synchronization between moodle and joomla was not working correctly.

Site: umbandaexplica.com.br/ead

edit: I tested it with Joomdle 1.3.3 and the same error happened, I did not realize it. I remember again, in joomla everything is green but the synchronization between moodle and joomla is also compromised.

Moodle course does not shop in Hika Shop? - by: paurray

Hi Antonio

I believe that I have studied the instructions correctly.
I have successfully created products in Hika.
Created a category and noted its number.
Activated the Joomdle Hika Shop plugins.
In the Joomdle configuration in the shop section I switched to Hikashop.
Then I added the category number I created above.

I do not see my Moodle course “Final Cut Pro X 000”:

www.finalbug.net/courses-home

Turn up in the shop:

www.finalbug.net/hikashop-menu-for-categories-listing

I am sure I am missing something very simple.

But honestly do not have a clue what?

Kindly take a look at the screen shots below.

thanks

Paul

Feedback in My Grades Module - by: Web Buster UK Ltd

The table that appears in the My Grades module shows the scores and or percentages for each of the sections in the moodle course, however, the Feedback box is always blank. I have done some select marking as well as auto marking and even though there are comments on the work made by the system or the teacher, they do not appear in the My Grades Feedback section. is there a tick box in moodle or joomdle to allow this or is it mapping or is it just a bug?

Multiple Data Sources mapped to Moodle? - by: ACM

Hi,

Joomla 3.5.1, Joomdle 1.0.5, Hikashop 2.6.2, Easy Profile 1.4.

I love your product and am working on profile integration between Joomla/Hikashop/EasyProfile and Moodle. I have a situation similar to that discussed here: www.joomdle.com/forum/shop-e-commerce-in...ng-help-needed#18346

I would like to map Hikashop address fields to the Moodle profile AND map Easy Profile fields to the Moodle profile.

Are multiple data sources allowed, or just one additional data source?

First, I have a production Hikashop currently taking orders and address fields are filled in by the visitors when they register...if they don't buy something, we have captured this data. If they buy, then all is well with the world as the address data is mapped to my custom user fields in Moodle.

But I need more info.

I have added Easy Profile to force a course customer to enter extended demographic information based on the product purchased and give the user the ability to view and edit this info each time they login to Joomla/Shop. I tested, and when Easy Profile is selected as the additional data source, then it's possible to map it's data with custome Moodle profile fields.

But if Easy Profile is the data source, then I'm no longer able to map the Hikashop address data. Is there something I'm missing here or is only one additional data source allowed?

If Easy Profile is the data source, I map and then when I list the data mappings the Hikashop fields are listed but don't show as mapped. If Hikashop is the data source, then the EP fields show mapped to basic Joomla field ID's.

I have considered collecting the extended demographic info as the first Moodle course activity.....through a Database Activity.
Has anyone done that, and would this give the student the ability to view and edit the info similar to having the info in the Moodle profile?

Thanks a million for your product AND support...it takes courage to be involved in all these integrations and plugins!

Hola, Antonio

Using Joomdle and Moodle's "Autoenrol Cohorts" - by: cjdelrea

First, I want to say that I've been using Joomdle for about 4 years and I'm very happy with it. Thanks to the developers for creating and maintaining this tool.

Now my problem. Our administration wants users that register with an email from a specific domain to be automatically enrolled into specific courses. I gave the Moodle plugin "Autoenrol Cohorts" (moodle.org/plugins/auth_mcae) a shot. That module allows me to automatically create cohorts based on a user's email domain.

When a user logs in via Moodle, it triggers the Autoenrol Cohorts plugin and automatically places that user into the correct cohort. The problem is, it appears that Joomdle skips Moodle's user_login() function, which is the function that triggers this plugin.

Is it possible for me to use Joomdle and have it trigger Moodle's Autoenrol Cohorts module?

Joomdle Cohort sync not working - by: Johank

Hi,

We have this installation
Moodle 3.1
Joomla 3.8
Joomdle latest version
Jcohorts_v1.0.1

This is how we set it up:
User register on Joomla site with Ajax register plugin. User is created and put in a specific group. This group is mapped with a Moodle cohort.

User registration works fine and user is also created in Moodle. SSO works. But the user is not set in the cohort in Moodle.

It used to work, but I think a moodle or Joomla update has caused the plugin Jcohorts_v1.0.1 to malfunction. Please help.

I tried to install joomdle 1.1.4 (Joomla 3.8.2
At first Installation I had 2 Menu-Entries one German one english. When i try to enter configuration I get:
Fehler
Table 'kepos37.#__joomdle_field_mappings' doesn't exist
The error is reproducable. After a second installation i now have only one menu-entry (german) but the same error.
On the first installation, the deinstallation crashed my site for good and i had to restore from a backup.
Is the a way to create the tables manually?
Installation went through without error btw.

Help on test environment and general installation questions - by: pipelad

Hello all, im fairly new to joomble, and im encountering a few bumps on the way to use it.
As stated on the subject is a test environment to learn to use it before installing it on the live server. Done in Mamp on a Mac, installed the xmlrpc extension with out problem.

Steps im following acording to documentation:

1. Prerequisites:
Ive correctly instaled both joomla 3.8.2 and moodle, 3.3.2

2. Preparing Moodle:
ive intalled joomble on moodle activated the auth plugin (it tellms me something about versions but i continue anyway and it seems to function well) i open the plugin configuration and leave it at that for the moment as i dont have the joomla key yet.

3. Installing on joomla:
I install the package on joomla and open the component configuration, and follow the instructions on configuration (ive tested both connection methods, and also on the URL ive tested both typing "localhost" and the ip of my local server.
as i save to get the joomla key for the moodle i get an "Localhost hasn't send any data ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE", i can go back to my joomla instalation but the configuration page of the joomble is inaccesible, neither the user, course request and system check.

Im at an impass here, have i done anything wrong? am i missing something, are any of the versions im using not suported? is it something in particular of mamp maybe?

Updating mapped user field - by: Web Buster UK Ltd

$

Is there a way to change when the mapped Moodle field gets updated? For example, on logging in Joomdle maps Joomla fields to Moodle fields. Or even clicking a button to trigger mapping.

Currently, the fields' values are transferred over to Moodle only when a user updates and saves his profile on Joomla. If he edits it via Ajax on his profile in Joomla, the values do not get mapped to Moodle.

The other situation where a custom Joomla field is generated via SQL (eg combining 2 other fields) which occurs after profile updates are saved, the updated values do not get mapped across to Moodle either.

Needing to log in again when clicking on course links - by: Web Buster UK Ltd

Hi, wondering if you have any idea what could be causing this issue.

SSO works fine, when a user logs into joomla, they are automatically logged into moodle as well (when viewing mysite.com/moodle, it shows them as logged in).

However when a user clicks on a course link on joomla to be redirected to the moodle course, the joomla login page comes up and they have to log in again before being redirected to the moodle course. This happens both with the "My courses" module as well as the Community Builder My courses plugin.

Joomla access levels are set to public for the relevant modules as well as all joomdle plugins.
